  • Fondo Nacional del Ambiente (FONAM)
    FONAM is an environmental fund created by a congress law, but ruled under the private regimen. It is a non-profit institution of public and social interests, with the objective of promote and support the financing of public and private investment in environmental projects, as well as support the financing of the environmental policy and environmental management of the country. FONAM is the official CDM and Carbon Market Promotion Office.

  • Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States
    • Environment & Sustainable Development Unit (ESDU)
      The Natural Resources Management Unit of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States was established in 1986 to coordinate environmental activities on behalf of the OECS Secretariat. The unit is now called the Environment and Sustainable Development Unit (ESDU). The ESDU assists in the management of the sub-region's natural resources by providing technical assistance and by developing tools and techniques for natural resource management
  • Caribbean Planning for Adaption to Global Climate Change (CPACC)
    This project is designed to support the participating Caribbean countries in preparing to cope with the adverse effects of global climate change, particularly sea level rise in coastal and marine areas through: vulnerability assessment, adaptation planning, and capacity building linked to adaptation planning. It is being executed through the cooperative effort of twelve CARICOM countries and participating institutions over a period of four years by a combination of national pilot/demonstration components and regional components
