Library Climate Data Imaging Project: Data Rescue home Page
The goal of the Climate Data Imaging Project is to preserve and disseminate
unique climatological data from historical sources in the NOAA Central Library.
The images are provided in PDF and multi-page TIFF formats. The time period of
coverage ranges from the 1830s through the 1970s with most data from the period
prior to 1950.

This Web site offers a brief history of atmospheric general circulation models
from the 1940s to the early 1990s. It is also a forum for expanding our knowledge
and understanding of that history, by collecting documentation and welcoming
commentary.
